Eric Baudart's artistic practice is above all instinctive, with a certain idea of art that is both old-fashioned and demanding. He is sensitive to the physical thing, to the physicality of the world and the things that surround him. One aspect of his work consists in "seizing" a material logic of the world, in being attentive, alert, to gather and optimize the conditions favorable to the emergence of a form, of an idea. He is interested in the laws of physics that govern objects to release their potential and create the conditions for a "dazzling synthesis", no matter how realistic.
