Maria Immaginario was born in 1985 and lives and works in Lisbon and London, UK. Her work has been exhibited at art fairs and galleries in London, Lisbon, Paris, Milan, Rome, Lyon, Miami, Atlanta and San Diego. She is a multi-disciplinary artist, and over the past few years has decided to gradually shift her story away from traditional paintings to a three-dimensional language of immersive experiences featuring large-scale sculptures and installations. Maria has developed a very personal body of work, with images full of colour and depth, capable of conveying emotional messages full of meaning. For Maria, the use of color is important, as it is used to provoke different emotional responses. Her intervention is to invite people to embrace joy, to celebrate and break up the ordinary and the everyday, to bring everyone together through the art of interacting with people and creating lasting positive memories.
