Zoie Lam is a Hong Kong artist. As the creator of the fictional planet Zlism, Zoie Lam details a world containing all its inhabitants and events. As the kind characters come to life in her pen, positive energy radiates from them, and all these fascinating stories unfold in picture after picture. Through her works, Lam wants to express her views on different social phenomena. Most of Lam's works present dense and intricate patterned tapestries paired with bright colours - a striking visual contrast between Lam's signature style and the rest of his work. Another medium she enjoys is wall painting, which includes shop walls and impromptu painting as well as real-time animation and performance. To top it off, Lim was asked to paint Converse sneakers and design refrigerator surfaces for N*ICE POPS. She believes that whether it's collaborating with different brands or using unique items and materials for a variety of occasions, these are challenges she likes to try to break new boundaries.
