Born in 1996, Bambu graduated from the art department of the Tokyo Academy of Designers and began his career as an artist in the spring of 2019 after returning from studying in Canada and the United States. Influenced as a child by foreign animation and the pop art he was exposed to as a student, Bamb used non-human (real-world creatures) themes to create a character that aimed to express the beauty of diversity by looking at everything, seeing everything from a flat perspective (third-person perspective) to express the beauty of diversity. Based on the artist's own experiences as a gay man, Bambu expresses equality regardless of gender or species by depicting primitive creatures that did not exist or exist in the past, and by creating paintings on the subject of what is love and what is sex.加载中...
