Born in 1975 in Osaka, Japan, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Osaka University of the Arts in 1999. "There is a vague scene in my memory. This is a scene from my childhood, looking out of the car my mom and dad were driving. Although I had no idea where we were going, I still remember just looking at snapshots of strange buildings and houses lined up." The soft atmosphere and pastel colors create a pleasant serenity, coupled with the childish "mistakes" in the painting. The silence, however, is interrupted by puzzles left for the audience to solve. The absence of a story and the nameless landscape begs the question, what the hell is going on here? There was no one to look at, no depth, no sound, only uneasy unevenness in these seemingly peaceful suburban landscapes.
