When creating this piece, I sought to use flowing lines and layered colors to convey the philosophical concept of “dependent origination and emptiness”—the idea that all things exist in interdependence and lack an independent essence. The interplay of forms and tensions in the composition reflects my interpretation of the complexity of life and time, while also alluding to the enduring themes of impermanence and change.
Yellow and brown establish an earthy foundation for the painting, while elements such as water, mist, trees, and metal represent my vision of energy given form. The accents of blue and white symbolize my pursuit of moments of transcendence and clarity.
The composition of this work is deeply inspired by Deleuze’s concept of “becoming.” I aimed to present the fluidity and non-fixity of existence. The seemingly independent shapes, in my understanding, are actually interdependent and mutually generative, forming a network of relationships that reflect the inseparable connection between humans and the world.
Through this piece, I hope to capture the complexity and profundity of existence itself, shedding light on the often-overlooked yet essential connections that collectively shape the reality we share.
